We've reached the point of autumn that ceases to feel like autumn for me. The leaves have fallen from the trees, the sun is just starting to creep into the sky when I drive to work and has set by the time I leave, and the wind is feeling pretty wicked. I started reading The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins tonight at around 8:00 p.m. I'm now on page 382, it's just after 1:00 in the morning, and except for the hour I was on the phone with Jeff, I've done nothing but read.  This is a GOOD story, and I'm completely engrossed. I went to the doctor’s office this morning, only to be told that I don’t have an ear infection; I just have some really sore muscles in my neck in the area surrounding my ear.  I feel like a bit of an idiot.  I went, though, because I had a temperature for a few days.  Not an incredibly high one, but a temp nonetheless.  I’m guessing that my body ( Read more... )

I also saw some other happy news.  My B&N shipment may be arriving today instead of tomorrow.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it arrives today.  What's in the box?  Three wonderful things!
